Over 7000 people participated in Innovation Month in July 2024.
With over 20 events on offer, it was an opportunity for Australian Public Servants to share their knowledge and have a conversation about how we can innovate in the APS.
This year’s theme was Explore, Engage and Embrace, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
The Australian Public Service Commission ran an APS Reform – then and now workshop to help forecast the future of Australia and the APS.
Dr Rachel Bacon participated in the leadership panel on Reform in a time of transformation where she discussed what reforms we need to focus on when expectations, assumptions and core processes are tested in a rapidly changing operating environment. Supported by the APS Digital Profession, it showcased the important role professional communities have in promoting social learning for public servants.
APS staff can discover digital experience and skills with training, events, and collaboration with peers across government. To find out more, visit the Digital Profession website.
