The ATO has been awarded Disability Confident Recruiter (DCR) status with the Australian Disability Network (ADN).
This recognition is an important milestone in their journey towards becoming a workplace of choice for people with disability.
The DCR program has helped the ATO to:
- identify and remove unintended barriers across their end-to-end recruitment process
- improve the candidate experience
- build on the organisation’s confidence and capability to attract and support skilled candidates with disability.
The ATO is now amongst a select group of organisations have been awarded the DCR status, including being the 3rd federal government agency (along with the NationalDisability Insurance Agency and Attorney-Generals’ Department).
The ATO will be formally recognised externally with this award at the Australian Disability Network’s 2024 Awards night and Conference to be held in Melbourne on 8 May 2024.
